Hi All, Be nice to me, I'm only new here.
Used this site for lots of advice previously for issues with my 06 Plate IS220D but this is the first one I have struggled to find a fix for. All recommendations are about LS models in america.
So for the last 3 days the steering wheel wont extend as I start the engine like normal. There is the sound from the motor so I know the motor isn't dead. Would like to have some guidance for my mechanic before I hand it off to them. If the motor isn't dead could it be the cogs ? or is it a simpler fix than this? any one have an idea of the cost of replacing the cogs or the motor. This is the telescopic motion that doesn't work, the tilt works fine .
