  1. That is an AS200 then.

No triptronic on the steering wheel the key.

You should be looking at the 6 cyl AS200 Auto as per the equal spec of the UK IS200 S model with 153bhp as per UK model.

The RS200 is 210bhp on a four cylinder engine and would have two small up and down buttons for the gears on the steering wheel.

  2. nuisance phone calls come under the Malicious communications act, is also regarded as a form of harassment in extreme cases.

A crime report can be made under the malicious communications offence.

Police have training under the RIPA act, basically when speaking with the mobile phone operator and gaining details about the caller, justification has to be made that no intrusion of the callers human rights are being carried out, and that the request for caller information is wholly justified to prevent or detect crime.

Once the subject is found out, they can be warned by police against their calls/words over the phone, and advised not to repeat their conduct otherwise repeating the offence after a WARNING to CEASE would amount as Harassment and to commit a second offence, being a course of conduct complete knowing what they are doing is causing harassment/alarm/distress to the recipient, makes them liable to be arrested. This info from phone companies to police has been known to take up to half a year to get.

That is the criminal line of enquiries, but ther will be civil routes that you are obvoiusly looking at.

  3. Are they behind the two blanking plates by the TRC button?

If so I'd say its the heated seats. All the wiring is the the same (and done first), then your car goes down the line for the extras (ie heated seats)

yes is behind the blanking plate. so this mean simply plug & play......i surprised no other altezza owners here noticed them.

    I HAVE! :D

I spoke about them at a local Basildon/essex meet in JUNE when I changed my head unit to a sony double din unit.

I concluded the same thought, and yes, if we all bought some UK spec seats Im sure they would plug straight in and ............WORK.

    Worth a thought eh?

  4. Theres always the new Prolex-UK zorst,,,,,HKS hiper style.........first one being sent over next week for evaluation on my car :winky:

will retail @£275 inc VAT...........304 guage s/steel and a nice deep throaty sound....

I think that would be my first join in with a "group buy", Dave ;)

  5. do you have a sales invoice showing your p/x and it's vrm offset against the balance to pay for your new vehicle?

And if so this will have the date the dealer took control of the part exchange from you.

It is not your fault by the looks of it from what you say. Inform the dealer of their fault as being in charge of the vehicle at the times stated.

Likewise, if they sold the car on after you through an auction, there will be ANOTHER owner NOW. And obvoisly they must have not registered the car in their name after taking it on too!! So the dealer can chase them.

A novel idea. Put the question to DVLA staff at Swansea over the phone and make them TELL you what to do, and get a NAME from the person.

I like david blunkett's idea to force people to register cars in their name, otherwise issuing a fixed penalty ticket to them.
