  1. Hi there, In Japan you can buy a special coin and cardholder for placing in the depressed area of the doorhandle. I miss a sun glass holder. Best regards, Anders B. SWEDEN
  2. Hi, Does anybody know if it is possible to switch on the back up camera without having put in the reverse gear ? Would be nice to also have the possibility to see through camera when driving forwards. Suppose it is just a matter of finding the existing switch and make a paralell winding to a new switch. Regards, Anders B. SWEDEN
  3. Hi again, Here you can how the bumper protection look: http://www.lexus.ca/lexus/experience/en/ho...A31UP&year=2004 Anders SWEDEN
  4. Hi, Does anybody know where you can buy the rear bumper protection for the new RX300 ? You can see it on the RX330 sold in Canada. It is made of black plastic or rubber and is placed on the upper part of rear bumper to protect bumper from scratches when you load or unload from bagage compartment. I have seen many bumpers with nasty scratches origin from loading heavy things into trunk. The protection also has "LEXUS" engraved. Should be very practical and nicelooking. I know there is also a protecting clear film to buy but this rubber or plastic part is so much better. Anders B. SWEDEN
  5. Hi again, I just checked the version of my sat nav DVD. It is "ver. 1 2004-2005" so it must be the latest. I also find the rear back camera very useful. Allthough it would help if you also had a sound warning if you back up to close. I also discovered that the roof compartment for sunglasses don´t exist on my model. Instead there is a button for switching on and off the interior movement alarm. I also think there are sensors for the ASL (automatic sound level system). I loved the sunglass roof compartment in the RAV4, pity that my RX300 don´t have it. Well, I put my sunglasses i the lovely box between chairs (I´m impressed of the opening and closing of the big compartment in that box !!) Next week I will have a Mr Cap treatment of my car. It costs some money but it is definitly worth it. Have a nice weekend Anders SWEDEN
  6. Hi there, I have just picked up my brand new Lexus RX300, silver, with navigation system. I had a Toyota RAV4 but I found it to small for my needs so I traded it in for a new RX300. What a car !! I love my Lexus RX300 and I am now almost spending 24 hours per day in the car and in my garage to in detail feel and study everything. It is remarkable good assembled and the material they have used is top quality. As an old japaneese car lover and owner this is the best I have seen. The only thing I miss so far is a place to place coins. I found it practical to have coins easy accessable. I even have a coin department in my Toyota Yaris. Another thing I want to change is the strength of interior light under dashboard and interior opening handles. It to weak now and according to the instruction manual it is posssible to change. Anyone who knows how ? I will come baxk to this topic later with a more detailed report. Best regards to all from Anders Göteborg, SWEDEN
