I have a 2004 (54 plate) IS 2000, runs well, no major problems. Recently developed loud clunking noise, most often when driving off, and sometimes during a journey. It appears to be coming from under the chassis around the rear exhaust area. None of the usual servicing, examination etc can identify the problem. Brake pads have been replaced. Would be grateful for any suggestions please!
