  1. Hi everyone, I am or I was happy user of IS250.

    Unfortunately yesterday van driver decided to use my boot to stop.

    After quick call to the insurer and describing all my IS250 will be written off.

    This created situation where I am looking for bigger model of Lexus GS possibly up to 10 years old and up to 80k (MK3 after facelift) and here my questions.

    1.  What to look out for when buying GS

    2. what updates were between in models 2009-2011

    3. from which year there was audio streaming in GS

    any other tips I will be thankful

    (sorry if already posted but whoever was involved in car accident will understand me)

    Thank you

  2. 06->07:
    Added shark fin
    Added X package option
    Moved gas/trunk buttons slightly and illuminated them
    Enabled TRAC button to disable TRAC/VSC

    07->08:
    Improved steering feel
    Added rear legroom due to new shape of front seatbacks
    Illuminated scuff plate color changed from blue to white
    OEM 18s color changed to liquid graphite
    Coinholder added to dash

    08->09:
    A bunch of facelift changes (some interior trim and color changes, bumpers and tails changed, the ugly turn-signal mirrors are added, and the hideous lobster claws become the standard 18" wheel)

    Paddles enabled to work in D

    09->10:
    Bluetooth now available without nav
    Nav system updated to match what Garmin offered in 2006 (as opposed to the 1999 era one in the 06-09 models)
    USB port added for ipod interface, SAT radio now built in as well rather than optional
    A2DP streaming now possible

    10->11:
    Another facelift with bumpers and whatnot
    Ugly LED headlamps added (which means AFS no longer offered)
    Passenger side memory seat no longer available
    PCS option no longer available
    X package no longer available
    Sport package no longer available
    F-sport package added
    350 now offered with AWD

    First of all, if the system is meant to have 100g of R134 and 8g of oil

    This is like advice of top up in my opinion, after putting 100g of refrigerant and 8 grams of oil air con was blowing cold air only on passenger side and compressor was quite loud.

    Filling up system with 430g of R134 and much more oil (but much less than spec sheet from my original post) aircon is blowing ice cold and compressor work is quiet.

  4. Hi there, I did air con service and I could not find anywhere how much PAG 46 oil should be in system.

    All sources say "Refer To Manufacturers Specifications" or "n/a" "https://www.mahle-aftermarket.com/media/homepage/facelift/media-center/klima/thermokampagne/2-2-handbuch-fuellmengen-pkw-&-nkw-200120-gb-screen.pdf"

    The only one I found is from Australia "Lexus IS250 2006 2008 6 Cyl 2.5 Eng PAG46 7 14002951 R134a 16" but it is for years 2006-2008 source: http://www.austinbaker.net/downloads/2014/2014 ABI Oil Catalog.pdf

    Will this be relevant to 2010 model?

    Anyone have any confirmed quantity?

    Thank you
