  1. good morning, today, i started engine, and vsc + light appeared. Now engine is running on 7 cylinders, engine shaking.. i'll check engine code ASAP..
  2. thanks guys. runsgrate : I will check again, but plugs have been fitted by a mechanic who owns different V8, so hope he did correctly graham : yes, right, i'll check with scan machine if anything wrong but i am sure, i am not the only one who met this
  3. Hi, (once again i am french, so allow me some mistakes 😉 ) I bought a LS430 uk car, few months ago. I decided to make a first basic service, by doing : - spark plug : same as genuine, and same as old ones : DENSO same reference + Oil / filters etc... Just after, engine started shaking. It only happens between 1000 and 1800rpm when i am driving at stable speed. Sometimes, it runs very well, sometimes, engine is having like some short cut. Then, i just need to push accelerator and go over 2000rpm to stop it. Sometimes also happens when stopping at red light. I can feel those little shaking from engine. = no light code, full power, nothing else. it is not engine mount, it is from engine, definitely. I was thinking about the coil connector plug, I changed one, which seem to be damaged. But still same problem. As it happened after changing plugs, I don't understand how it could come from anything else.. 😞 Thanks for your help.
  4. thanks for the link, but it might cost a lot right; i finally found on facebook the correct fitment (from my last link) we found our mistake by fiting the rear instead of front... let's see on next monday
  5. yes, that's it, it should only lower the car by 5cms... i didn't want such a lower result. I found some saying "do not use" but haven't seen WHY ^^ or just because too confortable.. and many ones in the USA using TEIN and happy with it. i bought them as used ones, so it was already fitted on previous LS in japan. https://www.facebook.com/pg/TEIN-Hong-Kong-Service-Ltd-215932125085960/photos/?tab=album&album_id=708800642465770
  6. Hi, somes news : next monday, i'll try to place the little shocks at front then... quite affraid about final result but we'll see... i am also trying to find someone here, who already fitted some coilovers.. i was finally wondering if i could still go back to original shocks, but seems complicated? i cannot swtich the air system?
  7. i am yes!!! to be honest, i followed my opinion.. i fitted the longest at front, and shortest at rear.... cause i heard that confortable springs were always at front. I asked another guy, he confirmed to me, i need to fit the shortest at front ^^ i am simply affraid, that in that case, my front will become even lowered than today, which is already impossible to drive.. anyway, thanks guys for your help
  8. yes right, but why TEIN put F front on shortest, and and R rear on longest 😞 there is also this advert on ebay , that's exactly same model as mine, that's the longest ones, sold as REAR ^^ i am becoming crazy ^^ https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-ls-430-Toyota-Celsior-2000-2006-UCF30-rear-tein-used-coilover-street-flex/264191540901?epid=9028937762&hash=item3d830afea5:g:abkAAOSwNudcYXVa
  9. OK Thanks, that's what i did. However, when you check my coilovers' picture, you can see that there is a F front on shortest ones, and R rear on longest... that's why i do not understand... 😞
  10. thanks Farqui : i'll check it again. As said before, i am also wondering if the shortest shocks need to be at front or not... i am trying to find reply on this. yes, i am already at the highest level, like if i didn't want to low the car at all. We did same on my GS before, and adjustment was perfect... 😞
  11. Thanks for your reply. To be honest, i fitted the short ones to the rear, cause the little confortable springs are supposed to be at front most of time, and they were on longest shocks... So you confirm i should fit the shortest ones on the front? but it will even low down much more the car?
  12. Hi guys, First of all, i am French, so i'll try to explain as best as i can my problem. I used to get my original air suspension broken, front was blocked at highest level. Then, i decided to change complete system for coilovers, but not cheap ones. I finally bought TEIN street flex ones, for UFC30, ref : G5Y67-11931 ... G5Y66-11931 etc.. i already fitted same brand, same model, in the past on my GS300 sport, without any pbm, everything was perfect. Unfortunately, this time, once finished, car was definitely too low... impossible to drive like this. Of course, i am at the highest level as well, but car is like no suspension anymore. When i am turning, i am destroying my front arches, i am so desapointed, cause i do not find how tol solve this. Rear also very low, but no pbm. Can you also confirm if the shortest shocks are at front or rear? thanks for any help.. Greg (last picture of complete car is from another guy which seems to drive like this....)
  13. maybe only camera, cause my camera is not working but sensors yes 😉
  14. yes, they all work fine, front and rear 😉 my camera does not work, but parking sensors yes. but i can see 4 cables whereas amp has 3...
  15. Thanks 😉 i’ve looked rear boot, right side and found this....no amp!!! Unbelievable! ok so i have to find now the right amp. Thanks again for the right OE 😉
  16. Thanks a lot guys 😉 i've finally found a 2004 satnav.. expensive but anyway. Today new surprise, as i have no sound, i decided to take it out my AMP ... and surprise no AMP at all in the boot!!! i found also two different OE ref 2001/2002 - 86280-0W041 and 2003-2006 - 86280-50330 So mark levinson amp is also different from pre facelift and facelift LS? thanks again
  17. Hi, As it seems difficult to find a facelift satnav, i was wondering if i could fit a 2002-2003 satnav on my facelift 2004 LS? 2001/2003 86111-50140 86111-50100 2004-2005 86110-50190 i know, facelift model has more options, but i mainly need maintenance, A/C ... Thanks
  18. Oh perfect thanks Mark. do you remember about price? You confirm it is the right one? http://svtservices.co.uk/ cheers
  19. It’s a 2004 with upgraded sat nav.. so hard to find one.. thanks anyway (i was also wondering if i could fit a 2001-2003 in a 2004-2006 ls? Even if I lose some extra, i don’t care)
  20. Yes, i’ll try to find someone able to refurb Amp in the Uk... hope to find solution here..
  21. Hi, thanks ;) so you mean the speakers have fuse as well? Cause i only checked the fuses from amp
  22. Hi, thanks so much for your reply 😉 i live in France, but i put Kent as i still have friends there when i go to uk. so it's even better.. but i can take out the AMP waiting for your good news 🙂
  23. Hi Vlady, thanks 😉 i appreciate it. regarding my previous GS, i added nice JNC wheels from US, Teins coilover, tinted windows, and some deflectors. that's actually, what i used to do on any car i have. That GS was nearly new with a 90.000 on clock, new paint... I expect to do same on LS this winter. But i would like to solve my different electronic problem before ... 😞 my feeling is : bigger, much bigger... but more responsive with the 6 AT, it feels faster. I really appreciate the silence inside, but would prefer to hear the Mark.Levi 🙂
  24. Hi, i just arrived on the forum, I am french and bought a UK LS430 with a complete full lexus service history. Unfortunately, few equipments do not work at all : 1- SOUND no sound from radio or CD ... but i can still hear lady about bluetooth connection. I tried the 30A fuses in different boxes, but still no sound. Then, i think my mark AMP is dead. is there any address in UK to refurb the amp? 2- SAT NAV screen sometimes switched off. Can't have access to language when i press it, then black screen. can't have access to Maintenance, when i press it, then black screen. i think, dead as well?? 3- TELESCOPIC STEERING RACK just goes back when switch off, but does not go up and down anymore, and does not memory initial position . I think motor might dead as well. I found someone in UK to refurb it. thanks for your help 😉
