  1. Hello! I have a big problem with my transmission whiny noise. It sounds like a supercharger and occurs only while being in gear. Neutral idling is quiet. Noise pitch raises with rpms while accelerating. It also depend on how much you press the pedal in order to accelerate. Gearbox is working fine. There are no issue with slipping. It accelerates well. There are rarely bumps when putting it in reverse and when near redlining while changing from 3rd to 4th. Fluid and oil filter has been changed (it was really low on oil) There were nearly no apparent metal shreds in filter/magnets. Is this a bad torque convereter and should be rebuilt or something else? One mechanic told me that the oil pump sealer and bearing are leaking and moving and it makes that sound. But imho it should be whining all the time and not when putting in drive/reverse. Please see the YT videos with sound reference. https://youtu.be/3XeLO3EFnYo https://youtu.be/i_uk5hNtZgA
