  1. Thanks Colin Barber

I was using the manual supplied with the vehicle, in which I could not find any reference to adjusting the height of the boot.   Lexus dealer told me it must be a dodgy sensor and would take it in to look at it, surely they must know  about this height adjustment !

I have downloaded the "full" manual from lexus, so much more info. Many Thanks.

  2. Hi all

I have car play in my NX 300 and I use the "maps"  navigation when needed, only problem is the guidance voice seems to have only 1 level of volume !! Has anybody found out how to reduce the voice guidance level when using car play navigation apps ? I have tried the obvious, turning volume down on car audio, no difference, also on my Iphone there is a setting on maps guidance with 4 levels of volume .....high, normal, low, and off. neither of which make any difference to the actual car volume.

If anybody knows the answer I would grateful

    Many thanks

  3. Hi all

    First, Happy New Year.
I was thinking about my previous Lexus (CT200) when I had a completely flat Battery and needed to open the bonnet, but to gain access to the car to use the bonnet catch I had to use the mechanical key, the lock barrel on the ct 200 is in plain sight on the door handle. I was wondering, if this happened on my NX300, where do you insert the mechanical key ? In the manual I found out how to remove the mechanical key from the key fob, but where do you insert this key ( I'm leaving myself open for suggestions here !!)  I have looked through the manual (if its there I can't find it)  It is really only a thought as I had not much to do New years day. But if anybody knows, please tell me.

    Thanks for reading

I have a Samsung S7 edge phone which works perfectly at the moment but as the Samsung is an android operating system does anybody know if it will work via the "carplay2 air" wireless connector I have just purchased or will they only work with apple iphones ? the info. I have found so far on this is a bit in conclusive..

    Any help would be appreciated.

  6.

    Just for info.

I think I have found a solution to my original problem (phone would not connect automatically when I got into the car, I would need to turn blue tooth off  and then on again before it would connect) I originally connected my phone via the car, asking the car to find my phone, the problem was always there, I later tried connecting the car to the phone, using the phone to find my car. Now all ok, phone is always there when I get in and start the car. The phone is a Samsung galaxy S7 edge in case anyone else has this problem.

  7. Hi

I want to connect my dashcam to the ECU supply, I have tried using a piggyback fuse connector and it works OK BUT I don't think the piggyback connector is secure enough in the fuse box, especially as there is a damn great thick  cable attached to the piggyback  connector, which must put a strain on it, call me cautious but I think I would worry about it working loose whilst driving.

My question is does anybody know whereabouts  and the colour of the cable from the ECU fuse so I can make a secure connection from that wire, obviously with a separate in line fuse for the  dash cam. Hope I have explained my question ok.

    Thanks

  8. I have only had my NX300 for 2 days I changed from a CT200. with the ct200 I would connect my Samsung S7 phone to the car and it would be there, connected, every time I used the car.

With this NX300 I need to turn off the Bluetooth on my phone and then back on again to get the phone to connect, once this is done it stays connected until I turn the car off and have the same problem next time I start it. Anyone had this and found out why better still found the solution.

    Thanks in anticipation.

Sorry its the second problem I've asked for help with in two days !!

  9. Hello all

I have just taken delivery of a two year old Lexus NX300h and its great.... but I cant seem to get it to recognise an address entered in voice control.

I have tried all sorts of speeds when talking, even changed my accent but still it keeps telling me its not recognised it, It tells me to say the house number the road and the town.

Done all that and it still rejects it.

Is it my voice ? has anybody got or had this problem, Id love to know what I'm doing wrong, if anything.

    Thanks in anticipation
