On the A49 between M62 and M6 at 7:45 this morning.

I hope to be picking my lexus is200se up tomorrow and just have a few questions that I know you lot will be able to answer. 1. Its a Y plate, march 2001 and is blue, is it saphire blue or strathcaron. 2. If the stereos been changed because of the err 3 problem is the cd slot at the top or bottom 3. And finally if the stereo hasnt been replaced will it still be under warranty even though the car isnt and it'll now have a different owner? Thanks Pam

I'm currently looking for quotes for the IS200SE i'm hoping to pick up next friday and am getting a lot lower with different companies than who I'm with now. If they cant match the lowest I've got I'll consider cancelling and starting a new policy with a different company (no no claims anyways) so just wondering how much is the usual refund if you cancel a policy 2 months into it. Also any opinions on elephant insurance? Pam

Hi Wilo, Nah not the same, but I've gone for a high mileage car, doesnt bother me at all as long as its got a full service history and looks and runs ok... I do a lot of motorway miles anyways so it'd have a lot on after a year or so anyways... got a really nice strathcaron blue is200se with oakham leather that I cant wait to pick up.... I intend to keep the car for a good few years so by then the mileage wont bother me when I sell it on or more likely trade it. Also read somewhere dont know if it was here or not but lower mileage cars tend to be used on short journeys which dont run the car in enough and knacker the clutch and exhaust, and also tend to have car park and supermarket trolley war wounds, I'd rather have the higher miles knowing its been at a nice constant speed and looked after. I've just bought an IS200 SE a week ago, from used car dealer for 10995, Y reg Blue with Oakham leather interior, Lovely car and I can't wait to pick it up. My husband and I looked around a lot before we bought it and decided to go for this one, highish miles but I do all motorway driving anyway and it has full lexus service history.
