  1. Hi John This is my first Lexus and I bought from a dealer. I have just put the car through an MOT, although it passed it has a couple of advisories, it requires a nearside rear caliper and also two rear shock absorbers they are weeping a little. I also need an exhaust system but I am looking at a stainless steel. It has been well maintained and has a good bit of history. Serviced every year up to 2018. It had a new cambelt on 89,000 it is now on 118,000 so plenty left I assume! I really did not realise how much parts were for a Lexus pretty scarey! I cannot believe a caliper from one company is £570, my husband just bought one for his Astra for £34, what is the difference they are all made of the same material ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated with regard to where I can get any spare parts. Thank you for responding 🙂 Kind Regards Linda
