Hi did you manage to find out what the issue was? I'm experiencing the exact same problem on my 2006 is250. I can drive for hours and the issue wont appear but a short trip down the road and the p/s light will turn on. Battery was replaced a few weeks ago. Any suggestions would really be helpful.
