  1. Sometimes I need to angle the nozzle a little bit, maybe to 8 o’ clock, it seems to depend on the pump type. Some are fine, but I’ve found sainsbury’s to be the worst for it.

Previously, I had a BMW Z4M coupé, and this was always very difficult to fill at sainsbury’s. Often had to have the nozzle upside down, various lengths to even get it to flow slowly.
At BP and Shell stations, it wasn’t really a problem :ermm:

  2. I’d agree with this. I’d spent about 8 months looking, and hoping to find one to view nearby. Called my local Lexus dealer, but they never had an RCF, or any other F cars come into stock during that time. Those that were available were always well down south, apart from that ratty RCF Nottingham had :schmoll:

I’d given up the search temporarily during lockdown 2, but that was when one appeared for sale, which was also the first under a 2 hr drive to view. I’d discovered it was a previous forum car, while doing my research.
Was the first to view it, and the deal was done within a couple of days.
I had a nice car before, but the RCF is amazing :driving:

Had I known how good they are, I’d have made the journey to Kent or wherever.

And its a shocking job too - its got overspray all over the backbox. Also managed to put £4k onto the price (rip off) and then changed the number plates to some naff ones.

Talk about ruining a lovely car

Wow i do full sprayjobs cheaper someones making a easy living

I expect the wrap material is quite expensive in itself. While there isn’t going to be the same kind of prep as required for a respray, there will still be a lot of prep.
As I’m sure you know, to do something well takes time, skill and experience. This is often the largest part of the cost, and hopefully means no hassles after the job is completed.

Matey to answer your calliper colour question .....as someone mentioned my Rcf went to Lexus for a pad change and unfortunately the callipers were damaged so rather than just have them  refurbished in black I requested a colour change to Brembo Yellow....to cut a long story short it just didn’t work it proved impossible to get the paint to adhere properly and the callipers were ruined.

Anyway they agreed to replace the whole lot for me with brand new + pads.

I was given the choice of black or Orange.....as I had researched that the GSF calliper is exactly the same as the RcF same part numbers and only the paint code differs.

So I went with the Orange....

And had the wheels in satin black at the same time......

So if you want to go that route less the wheel colour change it’s just short of £5k 😳

I’ve just been out and looked at these, there is no marking I can see which would help identifying a colour code.

As Colin mentioned, they will be supplied already enamelled, so the only people who can give a definitive paint code will be brembo themselves.
