I've arranged my previous Extended Warranties and the the 10 Year Plus Extended Warranties through Lexus Reading (Jemca
Followed up on your recommendation and eventually spoke with Renaldo who arranged everything in a five minute phone call. Initially Lexus Reading were telling me to use my local Lexus Dealership, but explained had already done that with three local Dealers : Lexus Derby who after two weeks were still waiting for a password to access the system!!! (there words) : Lexus Nottingham unable to confirm in writing that Roadside assistance was included : Lexus Leicester adamant that Roadside assistance had been discontinued since early 2023.
Many thanks Phil for your guidance. Maybe it is time for Lexus (Toyota) to take all the Lexus franchises in house so we all have a uniform experience

email cr@lexus.co.uk
UPDATE
Followed your suggestion and emailed Lexus Customer Services who replied with a phone number and email for The Warranty Group
operator on phone said they only handle claims and should contact the email. The email reply from The Warranty Group said they do not sell
warranties and only handle claims, and I should contact my local Lexus Dealer.
Definitively being sent round in circles and getting nowhere

It still includes the Lexus Roadside Assistance same as the old one did
I was interested in the extended warranty , but after phoning four Lexus dealers - three of which had no one available who knew about it - the fourth one
advised that the Roadside assistance is no longer included. Apparently it was removed sometime last year. £546 without Roadside Assistance is not now such a bargain

turn off the car alarm on my RX450 while crossing -
As DavidCM suggests it is in the manual. The button is up besides the internal mirror, and you press after switching off the vehicle

used to laugh at oldsters saying "Two pounds for a pint"* and now I'm one of them
When I was 18/19 four of us would go out on a Friday night with 10 shillings each in our pockets (50p in modern money).
Each bought a round 4 pints at 1s 8p = 6s 6p
Entry to dance 2s 6p
Fish and chips on way home 1s
Total 10s
But we were only being paid something like £3 a week

Where exactly do the discs go? I know that the rx400h had a CD disc in the boot for sat nav, but I thought that the rx450h had moved away from CDs.
Sorry for delay in replying. Previously I had aRx400 and like you say The disc player ( I believe it was 6) was in the boot. The 2013 Rx 450 uses the single cd unit
in the dash and takes the dealer about 2hours to load the full 5 discs.. Lexus Nottingham had to see my vehicle to ensure they ordered correct version, I do not think the usb stick option is
available on early Rx 450's. At least I was not offered it.
Hope that helps

tasked to maintain rates around 2%
Sorry my mistake - I should have referenced Inflation at 2% not Interest rates

CPI has now dropped to 4.6%
The BOE is tasked with keeping interest around 2% - but they permitted it to go well into double figures - so to be bragging it is now over double
the accepted rate is pathetic.
Moan over!!!!

I will see if I can obtain this warranty with Lexus Cov when they MoT and service my car in November. My Motoreasy warranty only costs £350 and covers what I need
Has anyone done an analysis of cost/benefit between the Lexus 10 year warranty and the Motoreasy option?

You must place it on the front left of your windscreen (passenger side).
I believe it has to be placed on a right hand drive vehicle (UK) in front of the driver ie. right side. The reference to
passenger side is more likely for a left hand drive vehicle (France) which would be the right side.
I have placed mine at the bottom right hand corner of my windscreen - next to to the German equivilant "Plakette Umweltzone"

We have been travelling regularly to Europe over many years with our Lexus. In the early years we always saw several Lexus on the road on a daily basis, but
during our last trip not a single Lexus was seen. In 2007 we parked in Kaprun, Austria and on returning to the Rx400h found an identical Romanian
registered Lexus next to ours in a otherwise empty carpark - must have felt safe and cosy next to ours.
Anyone else noticed the recent decline in Lexus in europe?

Maybe you were lucky or possibly did not enter any the cities that require the Crit'air to be displayed

All cars pollute irrespective of were they are registered

If it helps, I got mine from the official site and it only took a week to arrive. Probably best to try that as, even if it doesn't arrive on time, it will only have cost you less than 5 euros. If I remember rightly, I believe the email receipt covers you if the actual sticker doesn't arrive in time.
I was getting concerned about the possible three weeks postal time, but like you I went on official Govt website which I found straight forward easy and helpful especially the
drop down box linking our V5 sections to their relevant sections to be answered on the website form. Only hiccup was the box titled "Mark" which should have been "Make" as the answer was Lexus
The email receipt has arrived and like you say can be printed and covers until the original arrives in the post. Top marks to the French for getting it right as there was no need for me to be unduly worried.

The more I search on the internet the more it looks like you can only purchase via Govt website - even if live in France - and its posted to your address on the V5

We are shortly going to France with Lexus Rx450h and I find I need a Crit'air Sticker to drive in some of the towns and cities we are visiting.
First problem, is on the Official Government website there is no Hybrid/Petrol classification only plug-in Hybrid. Also cannot find if I can purchase at a dealers or Govt office once in France.
It is now too late to buy from Official website as post could be three weeks.
Does anyone know if it is possible to visit a Toyota or Lexus Dealer with V5 documents and buy the Crit'air sticker over the counter?.
In Germany we visited a Lexus dealer and was sorted with no problems.
Any suggestions and/or advice welcome

NX350h headlight adjustment (European driving)
in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h Club
Posted
We have been many times to europe in last 15 years with Rx400h and Rx450h and did not need to adjust the headlights. Lexus Customer service confirmed our Lexus were fitted with "HID headlamps which emit a horizontal flat beam and therefore does not dazzle the drivers of oncoming cars". I assume nowadays all Lexus are fitted with such headlights. If you want peace of mind maybe double check with Lexus Customer Relations and carry a copy of their email reply to show anyone if required
