If you want to update just the software why don't you buy the sd card from ebay? This is how I've updated mine and is super simple to do it.

A generic obd2 will be just fine for most of the basic jobs.

Access Lexus NX 300 hidden service Menu: 1 . stop the car and make sure the head lamp switch is in 'Auto ' position 2. without pressing the break paddle, press start button two times (this will enable the camera settings in the service menu) 3. wait for the system to load 4. press and hold menu button and turn the head lamp switch forward and backwards 4 times (from 'auto ' position to 'park lamp ' position) 5. now the Service Menu will appear.

Torque is not having those options. You need carista apk. You can download it from the website adress posted above. After you connect it to the car is super simple, just go in the second menu--I belive is called customization. You will be able to change all the options described in my previous post. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

You can open/close the car using the button on the tailgate. Close to the opening button for the tailgate there is another one which is closing and opening the doors!

Another easy and fast way to set a destination point in the sat nav is by using Lexus link apk/app. You need to connect with the car by creating a mobile hot spot using your phone. Setting up the app is easy. Tested using android phone and Nx300h 2015.

How annoying is when the tyre pressure warming is displayed. Premium, luxury car at a "respectable " price is not telling you which tyre is loosing pressure. Not sure what exactly was the philosophy behind this decision. Using the same app carista you can see the pressure info for each tyre. Available under the coding menu. I'm not advertising for the apk, is the only solution I have found. Maybe someone can share an easier way.

Today I have enabled the opening/closing of the windows using the remote. A generic obd2(£4 ebay) and carista app are needed. "Full version" 😇 of the app is available online. Can be done at the dealer, probably for free, but requires booking, travel, waiting, etc. Things I've used: Android phone, apk and Bluetooth obd2 So if you already have a Bluetooth obd2 it is going to be free. If anyone needs more guidance please let me know.
