I don't believe I have seen videos of it being done. My advise would be to tape the bumper around the hole to protect it then pull the washer out and support it with something (like plyers, or anything that can hold it on both sides). Then it is solid and you can clip the cover in.
That is assuming your washer het is not broken where the cap should clip in, mine was broken on one side, so it simply would not hold. In that case I drilled 1mm hole and used some metal wire and epoxy glue to secure it in place.

Usually on backorder so be prepared to wait for few weeks and obviously make sure to coder correct side. As well note that facelift cars had different shape, so make sure to take the other side washer to show them to order the right part.
However - Lexus DOES NOT sell the clip, and as ridiculous as it sounds to get the clip you have to buy headlight washer assembly for £300+. Because the clip is not part of the washer jet cover, but part of entire washer assembly. So for the clip you have to go to AliExpress and order bag of them. I think I still have coupe of them laying around somewhere - looks like this (says Subaru, but it is identical part, you can find listings for Toyota/Lexus as well, just costs more) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002282247848 vs. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001715065264
You can sometimes find them on ebay like here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402726270667, but it s identical part just for 10x the price. I seen people in UK selling them for £30 each, just get bag of them from Aliexpress for pennies and resell them.
Once you put everything back together I suggest drilling small hole with like 1mm drill and putting in the pin/twist some wire to make sure clip never comes out again, because this is the most annoying part.
The other option - go and scout washing place and try to find your lost cap.
Is there any instructions videos on how to install these? i have all the parts but its not clipping in with ease and without removing the bumper which i am not keen on doing it is proving to be a pain. I bought the body colour cover from lexus (interestingly had to modify to fit due to fins) but the clip was third party from Lituania via eBay.
Thanks

What did you replace them with James? Mine are looking pretty battered!
Hi Martin.
Sorry I missed your response. I went to the f sport 18 multi spokes. They're lovely looking but definitely have a minor effect on mpg.

Considering getting a is250 SE-L. Seen a good one however the only issue is it's riding on 18 inch wheels. Everything is stock however. Is it easy enough to just put more comfortable 17 inch wheels on or does it involve a lot of effort?
TIA
I have the stock 17s for sale if you're interested?

I can confirm go with the aux option. Taking the nav unit out is not worth the hassle. I did it this morning to install the blue tooth cable, and it's impossible not to damage the sticky dash. It's so brittle that the slightest scrape will mark and cut it. The new connection works well but was not worth the cosmetic damage that has now broken my heart.

Hi James. I had a similar issue. I too bought the mirrors with only 1 plug. The mirrors with 2 plugs are not as much available as the other ones. Look at the pictures on the sellers page before you buy the wrong one again.
Hint. The top right nut is a swine to get at and remove/replace. So be ready.
Thanks for the responses chaps. i think i have found one with the right connections but wrong colour, however i think i can strip the one i have and put the body coloured pieces on this one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184377074162?hash=item2aedbae1f2:g:-s4AAOSwU2FfHWns

Dear all,
So my drivers side wing mirror doesn't retract and hasn't since i bought the car in feb this year. I didn't think much of it as replacement second hand parts seem plentiful and i watched an online video that made it look simple.
Well it turns out if you have the SE-L its not quite that simple. I ordered the part from eBay, correct colour, £40 and in great nick https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203317675422. So i waited for a nice sunny Saturday to do the swap and once I had carefully prized the door trim off as per the video I am greeted with a red box attached the door the instructional video didn't have with an additional plug required to make the mirror adjust that the replacement wing mirror doesn't possess.
I have done some digging and it turns out I bought a wing mirror from a car that doesn't have the seat presets facility and can only swap with another SE-L specific wing mirror with additional functionality and 2nd plug, have I read this right? if so, balls. Also the replacement wingmirror which I also suspect is off a newer car only has two leads for the heated glass and mine has 3.
Thanks

Apologies this was written on my phone which isn't working correctly and had no idea how nonsensical it was. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice suggestion there, my 2010 came with bluetooth as standard but for anyone pre 2009 this should work nicely.

Those are rear wheels and as standard would have 255/40R18 tyres.
The front wheels are 8" rather than 8.5" wide, with ET45 offset and have 225/40R18 tyres.
Hey Colin,
I finally managed to source the front wheels. I've ordered the tyres as above and National tyres are querying saying it would typically be 255/35R 18s?
Any help would be great.

Hey guys,
if anyone here happens to see or hear of two front alloys of this type for sale would really appreciate a heads up. They seem to me rarer than rocking horse ****.
thanks

I saw this lovely IS250 for sale on Facebook marketplace and noticed the additional front splitter and rear bumper and spoiler which all look great, are these factory fitted or aftermarket? They all look like subtle ways to give the car a more sporty appearance and would love to do the same to mine.
Thanks
