  1. Hi guys, currently the LS430 (54,Red,140K) is SORN but will have it on the road when I have sold my little ep3 civic type r (05,Grey,135k) Anyone recommend a independent that can give the car a proper inspection and a full service? I have read radiator should be changed as precautions etc, so a inspection, service and preventative maintenance will be key to ensure reliable motoring. Body work is far from perfect, has dents and scratch's, clear coat has peeled in few areas and alloys need refurb, but due to overall budget and age of car i am happy to live with cosmetic issues for now. Silent drive, no unwanted noises, creaks or rattles although exhaust sounds is loud from the outside. Such a pleasant leather smell in the cabin! Few issues I noticed so far, #Water gets in the boot, and maybe in the cabin but I cannot locate where its coming from (I have notice rust on sunroof surround) #02 sensor warning so needs a sensor #Rear goes low after a few days, but not always. #The tilt function has failed on the steering (Not fussed if I cannot rectify) #Vents don't move (Not fussed if I cannot rectify) #Bonnet and boot struts are weak #Driver seat cushion seems worn #Passenger seat has slight tear I am sure there will be a few more issues that I haven't noticed yet. Sorry for a long post guys. 😅
  2. Hi guys, hope everyone keeping well in these extraordinary times! I am a new owner of a beautiful 2004 LS430 (Red,140k), noticed water getting into the boot? I have read people replacing it with ones from sealsdirect, however I am unsure of the seal spec? or should i go direct to Lexus? If anyone can share some experiences/fixes please? Thanks in advance, Akkas.
