Hi Steve2006, There is a huge thread on this topic, although I am none the wiser. The tailgate won't open, either with the remote, the switch on the dash or the button on the tailgate itself, but the little button on the tailgate will lock and open the car. There is no audible sound either. I haven't been using the car much at all during lockdown and have needed to charge the battery, which I removed from the vehicle. I have tried initiating the pbd as described and I have checked the on/off button in the glove box. I haven't checked the relevant fuses yet.

Joined the Club yesterday looking for a solution to a non working tailgate. I have a 2012 RX 450h.

This is so annoying! I have tried everything, apart from checking the fuse because I can't get it out. Tailgate doesn't open either manually or automatically, no beeps. Don't want to take it to Lexus, no income at the moment. Any help appreciated.
