I’ve bought a brand new Bosch battery same as before it was over 4 years old charge showed just under half car has more power and running like a dream So all sorted for now, incredible what a new battery can do and add so much more power it’s like I’ve added extra bhp 😂

I will put a voltage test on it, battery isn’t old but car doesn’t move that often last time was Sunday long drive no issues.

Please can someone tel me what low power functioning means ??? I went to put the roof down on my 250c and this came up on the dash . also the car is running lumpy and bit slow ?? Any ideas

@Davus yes there are ways to wipe the key and blank: you have to check. There was a place in east London that does it and can blank and reprogram/ I looked into this alot and it’s possible: I ended up just getting a new fob: make some phone calls call your local Lexus. If it’s the same key fob it’s doable but expensive/

@Davus go to any Lexus dealership well 2 near me one was £60 other was £75 and another £90 all including vat. AA can Do it too.

@Mr Vlad took it to Lexus asked the. To plug in to techstream, switch changed all confirmed on data on techstream and covered under warranty.

@Mr Vlad part ordered warranty agreed goes in Saturday 10am

@Mr Vlad i could start messing around with the dash however the wiring could be at fault: I will wait for Lexus. yes I’ve never bothered with tech stream as had one guy who worked for Lexus who had the laptop and done private jobs for me and also the Lexus main dealer has always looked after me.

Hey @Mr Vlad yes defiantly a switch issue. I’ve watched 1 of many YouTube clips and found one that this is the issue. this clip about 3-1/2 mins in shows it to be the switch and wires. the switch isn’t that expensive around £50 imported. But it’s how to test the switch and need the laptop tech stream that Lexus have but £180 plus vat per hour is a lot. I’ve contacted them as I have my extended warranty just waiting as they need a technician to have a look and do the paper work side but def the switch os the issue.

So I’ve just tried it and it went down and wouldn’t go up. Tried and tried and after a while it went up by yanking and pulling the switch really hard.

Yesterday and today both really hot days. I decided to go to Brighton: cleaned the car: we t to put the roof down/ holding the button nothing …. Tried and tried holding the button . I could put all windows down and use the roof switch to put the windows up . Nothing came up on the dash, no warning ⚠️ then the roof started to go up, but kept saying suspended and getting stuck. Eventually it went down but would go up. Eventually it went up. I tried again but nothing. Tried agian many times to day as went on a long drive 2 hours each way: same thing: I checked the luggage board, the clips. Still nothing. then 7 hours later I tried nothing. Then all of a sudden the roof started going up and down and working normally ??? has anyone had this experience or know if plugged in to tech stream a call de will show up as nothing came up on the dash

So I’ve noticed I’ve got a huge rattle and the door sounds like it’s going to fall off when shut with the window down. It’s awful ?? any help please

@Mr Vlad yes I’ve spent thousands on new paint work fixing the car doing everything changed everything and still got a Lexus warranty 15year getting number Plate lamps changed under warranty I’ve had 2 headlights done callipers changed brake pipe both sides watch this link watch this I’ve changed so much more since then

@Mr Vlad well I wouldn’t invest I. A new bumper as I spent 350 getting this one completely stripped taken off and repaired repsrayed. It’s not it’s a copy grill it’s because Lexus changed the front end on the Lexus is 250c even if you look at the air intakes and the fog lights they are different also the grill is blanked off ??? Stop the air Flow coming through

@Mr Vlad I received the grill today at 4pm by 5pm the car was back to original own factory. Didn’t fit. Le us is 250c grill is completely different to all other grills

@Mr Vlad watched many times It’s a different grill I’ve watched this one quite a few times. untill it’s arrives and I start stripping it out I won’t know if the clips are the same or has screws. Also they cut the most important part of removing the grill from the bumper. I don’t want to damage paint work
