  1. According to the shop they were pretty loose, although I never heard clunking from the front, only a light squeak when going faster over speed bumps. Too bad nobody I know has the same car to compare the steering effort!
  2. Thanks! I have checked all the above. But the issue appeared right after the ball joints were replaced and I noticed it immediately. Could they be over-tightened or something?
  3. Hello, I just got my ball joints replaced, the new ones are TRW. The shop also did alignment and everything looks OK on the printout. The car drives straight and feels tight. However, I am worried that the steering is now noticably stiffer, the wheel just feels heavier than before. A little annoying, since the steering used to be very light and pleasant! I called the shop and according to them it should loosen up after about 300 miles. Anyone had the same experience? Should I bring it back to the shop and demand they take a look at it or redo the alignment? Thanks!

    Greetings from Bulgaria! I recently got my first Lexus - IS 200 Sport, left wheel, completely original with 142k miles on it. Looking forward to putting some more miles on it!
