  1. I’ll certainly give WD40 a go. Thanks.
  2. I tried the magnetic approach when originally installing the GB sticker but found that the boot area of the CT200H is in fact made out of aluminum not steel so that didn’t work.
  3. Yes the hairdryer method and then isopropyl alcohol rubbing seems to be the way forward. Snd indeed I should put the sticker on the exterior of the rear window the next time. Thank you.
  4. Thank you. Yes the new regulations are the reason for me doing this. I tried putting the old GB sticker on the inside of the rear window but as it’s tinted it couldn’t be seen outside.
  5. Hi there, I don’t want to damage the surface of my CT200H but need to remove a GB sticker and replace it with a UK sticker - under new regulations from the 28th Sept. does anyone have any advice or experience as to the safest way of doing this? There are products on the market that claim to dissolve the glue but I wonder if they do more damage. Thank you.
  6. Thanks for the advice everyone. I’m going for an electrostatic sign for the rear window. On investigation it seems acceptable.
  7. Hi there, having just bought my Lexus CT200h, I am driving down to southern France next Thursday. I need to place a GB sticker on the rear of the car and was hoping a magnetic one would work but it doesn’t as I assume the rear end boot area is aluminium. I don’t like the idea of sticking something on the bodywork but will need to do it. Can anyone, from experience, recommend the least damaging of stickers ? Thank you
