Just curious, I noticed that on initial start up my IS300h has a rattle similar to a hydraulic rocker I had on an old Ford years ago although not as robust. Lasts only for a 1/2 seconds? Vehicle has only done 5000, never ragged. Is this a normal engine characteristic from fellow owners. I wonder if it’s more the fuel injectors? The car after this is virtually silent hence thought I’d ask. Maybe it needs a good run/rag 😊 cheers chris

Went with white. Cheers for the reply. I checked the main dealer service invoice and says Mobil 3000 0w-20. Just not sure if the Volvo recommendation is the same? VC?

Hi fellow Lexus owners. Brand new to the site so apologies for this question. Recently purchased an IS300h and saw the engine oil should be 0w-20. I have Mobil super 3000 0w-20 VC . I assume this is fine even though it says Volvo formulae? Incidentally previous car was a Volvo which so pleased to see the back of. Many thanks for the advice
