There are also repair kits available if the valve stem is broken.

Yes you would be paying an extra £410 per year as the original purchase price was over £40k, you do however save £10 by virtue of being a Hybrid.

If it took 2.5 hours I am sure the price would be much higher.

There's also one report on here that the plates were circumvented.
Also one post that stated there was a newer improved version, but I don't believe this has been verified.

Also I think it's one of the factors on why insurance prices have risen overall.

You can always take out an independent warranty cover for peace of mind.

I went from LV to Hastings Direct.

Make sure you get a print out of the tracking / alignment results, you can then have a discussion with objective data.
Same with brakes, what is the pad / disc thickness and what are the specifications for wear.
If the dealer can't answer these simple questions them most likely they are trying it on.

The petrol smell will be because the car is running too rich.

Their promise of authorising repairs at Lexus approved body-shops using genuine Lexus parts is a major plus for me.
Most insurance companies will also let you choose your own repairer, but usually you will have to pay an additional £200 or so excess.

If the sensors are metal they do tend to corrode and hence are easily damaged if you try and remove them.

They don't get it do they. Even a £200 banger can raise millions of pounds worth of liabilities if the properly insured driver kills someone.
True but the risk factor is mainly the driver rather than the type of vehicle in that scenario.

Sounds to me like it may have been the ECU rather than the headlamp itself, seems unlikely that both components would have failed simultaneously.

Maybe they are old stock and have deteriorated with age.

The future price of EV's will be determined by supply & demand, if there is strong supply and minimal demand then yes the prices will tank.
Currently helping my son who has recently passed his test to buy a car, the price of 10-year+ old ICE cars amazes me (not in a good way).

Could it be related to the mechanism that locks the wheels in 'P' mode?
I doubt it as the lock is inside the transmission so you would not get any sound from the rear.
Is there any difference if going forward or reverse, in electric or ICE modes?

Anyone else experienced this issue, or more importantly have any suggestions to try and turn it off.
You need a code reader so you can find out the specific fault condition.
If your car is 2015 you may also be covered by Relax if the Service History is up to date.

Service prices are on the Lexus website.

All depends on price, yes cars should be driven regularly, but a 12-year old car with average mileage could be approaching the end of it's economic life for many vehicles.
-
If it is rubbing you may have a fault with the suspension rather than incorrect size tyres.

One option to consider is go through insurance, then sell on the car before your next renewal is due, swapping for something you can insure more easily
Sadly some owners have reported being targeted more than once now that the thieves know your car location so worth considering.

If you have the pre-facelift model (without touchscreen) then it has traffic sign recognition but does not have sat nav speed limit data. The traffic sign recognition is very hit and miss though.

FYI I’ve found that the EV range has gradually increased over time. Mine now shows 48 miles on a full charge.
That could be due to the weather warming at this time of year.

There are many factors that will determine whether the car is running on ICE, Battery or both, speed is only one. Just let the car do it's thing and you soon won't notice the difference.
