thanks very much for the feedback - I'll be going down there for a test drive at some stage & will ask them to show me the servicing costs & warranty extension options - I'll be looking at a c.4yr old f-sport ux - my x1 has done 115k now & I need something a little smaller. Also looking at Kia X Ceed. Cheers.

Is it possible to get the servicing done independently? - I think I can change the battery fan filter myself - that just leaves oil and filter [+air + fuel filter] for my mechanic to sort out. My local man is retiring next year and I need to find another safe pair of hands. In my experience, main dealers, just check the dipstick & ‘inspect’ things. But they charge-out as if they have actually done the job properly. They go through the motions in other words. I live near Reading - are there any good local independents anyone knows ??
