  1. seen them reviewed a while ago think it was a max power mass brake test think they did quite well, could do with something simular now to see what gets best results
  2. well iam thinkin of going down the mintex route if there good just wondering if to chance fitting the pads myself not done them before, anyone else done one
  3. No got robbed for the full discs and pads all round but somethings got to change ← I was going to get some of the turbo grooved discs. But going by your post i dont think i'll bother. ← dont get me wrong the discs look mean as hell and to be honest like the fella for ebc said discs dont really aid braking itself just they can take more abuse, and on that note when my pads were virtually on fire today the disc sat there happy as larry
  4. No got robbed for the full discs and pads all round but somethings got to change
  5. alot of people seem to be saying mintex but then at one stage i heard ebc where good now iam inclined to be leaning to your fair opinion. think i might keep the discs just replace the pads
  6. dont think so ii've done a steady 1000 miles with them there never seems to be any bite though just progressive braking
  7. what do you run matt 600bhp must take some stopping
  8. can you notice improvement these ebc are worse than standard, hoping to just have to change pads discs are discs really
  9. After purchasing ebc discs and pads for my is200 my brake performance is rubbish after a chat with ebc they said i would need to replace the rear set up too to balance the braking forces. This i did and there seems no improvement, infact after heavy braking today i was pleased to see smoke coming from the calipers, not bad for £600+ of performance parts . So Iam after some good advice as to which pad best stops a is200 with moderate to heavy braking as this current set up is about to be thrown through ebc's windows.
  10. my chain of thought was though if there on and working they must be on right, but the performance just does'nt seem right is there anything the garage could have done wrong?
  11. are you not happy with the discs or you have'nt got them? In my opinion the original set up seemed better (standard) surly this cant be right
  12. starting to feel a bit gutted heard alot of good things before on the site, am now the laughin stock at the warhouse, getting out braked by a standard alfa
  13. spoke to elite direct where i got them from and they said performance should be noicably better which i would hope for 300+
  14. In need of some advice not long bought some greenstuff discs and pads for my is200 done the usual bedding in, but braking seems just seems average theres no real bite to them and any breaking from 60 plus gets a droning noise. tested it againts my mates alfa on standards and he stopped 2 car lengh's shorter is this right
