I was hoping someone can help me. I've got a 2009 GS450h which has an odd issue. The car goes completed dead on occasion when I try push to switch off the engine. The steering wheel does not fully retract and I cannot use the remote to lock the doors. It then doesn't restart and I have to disconnect the battery to start the engine as everything is completely dead.
On occasion the vehicle has also failed to unlock and start up and does not respond to the key. I have replaced the fob battery and it has not changed anything. The battery appears to have appropriate voltage.
Any idea what is causing this issue? I do not have any warning lights.
