  1. oh is it?? even tho its mounted behind the rad ?? but following the wires of that fan, it connects to a temp switch right at the bottom of the rad... that might mean its operated by the coolant temp... I am confused..!!!
  2. Hi, I have a UK supplied GS300. 1997 car i can't believe my rad is rotten like a 20 yr old escort so i changed it. (not cheap the rad, costed 200 quid for a pattern one). After changing it, it runs smooth again, but i have never seen or heard the lilttle fan comes on when the engine is warmed, so i guess the temperature switch at the bottom of the rad is fxxked. (fan works on its own, tried it) Can someone confirm that they will run when engine is too hot ? (if so like what temp?) cos the engine is constantly cooling by the big belt drive fan in the front so it may never get hot enough and that emall fan bmay just be an emergency back up if the big one fails... can someone comment on this?? thanks
