I have decided to remain with the bulbs fitted.

Thank you for the response Sorry I made a basic mistake, thought my main beam was 75W it is actually 60W, see the page from my owners manual.

I was wondering if upgrading to a higher wattage bulb in the headlamps from 75W to 100W would create any problems.
