Hi, just wondering if there is anything else I need to change/adapt when changing ecu? Have smart key unit and ecu and injector unit and push button start and dash from another car same age.

No start, no engine management light on start either.

Can't get my scanner to work on it. Bypassed starter today and fuel pump and both working. -
Bought a non running is220d for cheap as owner wanted rid and he thought it needed starter replaced but I put fresh battery to it just to see for myself what issue was and discovered the engine management light doesn't come on when u put on ignition and vsc fault was coming up on dash and there was no click from starter atall. Checked over relys and fuses under bonnet but no success. Any ideas?
