  1. All I can tell you is that both codes relate to the camshaft. P0012 Intake camshaft position timing. P3190 Toyota/Lexus code - defective camshaft position sensor. Neither of these relate to EGR I think you'll need a garage.
  2. I'm thinking of buying a GS300 SE - 2005 Model with 54,000 on the clock. Does anyone have any pointers for me on items that I should check. I.e evidence of potential faults. Things that I should look for, listen to or even test out. Thanks in advance.
  3. After 2 days of trying I spoke to a Lexus mechanic at Lexus Glasgow. He suspects that the lock has never been used in 10 years and that it may have rusted locked. Had I used WD40? Stupidly I had not!. Left WD40 sprayed into lock and door handle overnight. Using pliers I manged to free the lock. Thank God.
  4. My 12 volt battery has suddenly gone flat/discharged. Car is locked and thus key fob won't work. Tried the manual key which turns OK but won't unlock the door. Does anyone know what might be causing this or know of any solution. Thanks, Tim Wheeler.
