Hi I've had my weird green 220d SE-L for about 7 years. Love it and no problems at all until.......... happily drove from Chester to Cheltenham and back in a day, no issues as usual. Next morning, started for 2 seconds and died. Long story short, garage cant find the fault with immobiliser, swappd ECU's (??) and said due to age and value, sell it on for spares!...... they left me with a big box of parts they swapped out to boot too! Bit loathed as it's usually a dream to drive and I'd just spent £350 getting the alloys ground and refurbished! 😞 Is there a simple way of bypassing the immobiliser to see if it will start. Not bothered about the security aspect as it's 16 years old and worth about £2k on a good day! Any suggestions welcome! Thanks
