Thanks for the reply. Is the trans filter located away from the transmission pan? In terms of labour cost savings - would there be much savings doing it at the same time?

Hi there. I need to replace the left side diff seal as it’s leaking. This will be done by a mechanic/workshop. Would it be good practice to replace the right side seal at the same time? Secondly the transmission pan gasket needs replacing as that also has a leak. Would the transmission fluid need to be replaced with this? Thanks in advance

Hi there, looking for some advice please. My altezza/is200 1GFE has developed a flat spot/hesitation around the 2500-3000rpm mark. Ie when accelerating from 50k-60k it’ll hit 3000, stall/dip a little then keep going. It also feels like when i need to use a bit more pressure on the accelerator to get it going. Spark plugs, vvti ocv and air filter have recently been changed. There’s no check engine light. Any ideas on troubleshooting what it could be please? Thanks in advance
