Hoping someone out there can help as I am struggling with my soarer.
So it cranks but it does not seem to want to fire. I have checked the spark plugs which are fine. I have also checked the issue of fuel travelling but it seems like there isn't a blockage. Fuel filter is pretty much new. I've gone around all of the sensors and given them a clean with electrical contact spray as it is an old car.
Fuel in the car is petrol and new so no issues there.
Upon ignition the fuel pump does not turn on. However, a neighbour of mine did this test with the battery and connect it to the fuel pump which in turn made it "turn on" - yet the car didnt start when we cranked at the same time. I have replaced the fuel ecu module from a working soarer but still i am confused as to why it does not start.
