It does appear so, far fewer of 12.3 screens when I was looking at the 2012-2013 GSs when buying the car.

Sounds like a job not worth the hassle. Thank you very much for the advice as I was that close to start that project.

Hello everyone, I am a new Lexus GS250 owner and it has 8'' infotainment screen (being a 2012 model) as well as satnav. Ideally, I would like to upgrade it to a 12.3'' version and found a suitable display in the US from 2013 Lexus GS (hello Ebay). Been trying to find an answer on this forum's existing discussion threads whether this is feasible however to no avail. Has anyone done that and can the 12.3'' screen be matched with the existing head unit (that came with the 8'' screen)? Many thanks Alex
