  1. Thanks, Lexus Online were not able to confirm if it is the Pioneer just "Audio System with 10 Speakers" so I will just have to wait as I cannot access the car's multimedia manual yet. Quietly confident it'll be good though!
  2. Excellent, thanks a lot. I suspect the Lexus' superior insulation helps enhance the acoustics. Looking forward to playing my .flac files and also taking my dad for a spin so he can listen to some classical music.
  3. I've read conflicting things about the sound quality. Is it a Pioneer as I've noted in some Autotrader listings? I kinda wish I'd gone for the ML, but it was out of my price range unfortunately.
  4. Thanks, all, very much for your detailed responses. She arrived in Portsbury yesterday according to the maritime tracking site I was logging into every few hours! Now I just need to research the most cost-effective way of how to travel down to Lincoln from Aberdeen.
  5. That's good to hear, thanks. I plan on keeping the car for over twenty years that's all, and I was of the opinion that even if the chassis was behind plastic panels it could eventually corrode, and where I live that rate of corrosion can occur very fast.
  6. Agreed, the gun-metal look great. I will upgrade mine to larger rims but only ten years from when I collect the car.
  7. A local specialist will carry out the job. According to them they will powerwash and mask everything up. "...underbody stone chip protection coating, its essentially a bit like rubber...." £500 once-only application. Three days turnaround.
  8. Thanks, so I should get a Lexus dealership to fit? Would that then ensure continued warranty of all parts?
  9. Thanks, would it invalidate the warranty due to the wheels' sensors? I don't actually do many miles annually, and I'm coming from a 19-year-old car!
  10. I'm considering upgrading the factory-fitted 18" alloys to black and bigger (19" or 20"). I think it'll look great. Does anyone have any advice on this please? I haven't picked the car up yet.
  11. Interesting. Why not larger than 18"s? I prefer black (for looks and keeping clean) and think they look great on a white car, but that's merely my opinion. I'm considering upgrading my wheels, but can't really justify the additional cost.
  12. Providing it doesn't end up at the bottom of the Red Sea, I'm about to become the proud owner of my first Lexus - a brand new NX 350h. I live in a coastal city in north Scotland so they tend to put a fair bit of salt and grit on the roads from October to April, therefore, I'm thinking of protecting the vehicle's underside. Does anyone have any advice on undercoating the car as I plan on keeping it many many years?
  13. Does it have this feature? I'm sure I saw a US vid stating it did. The dealer was trying to push a paintwork protection package, so I'm not sure. I don't see anything on the car's webpage.
  14. Hmm, I'd have thought the internal linings on any components would be constructed of a non-corrosive material, certainly the petrol tank will.
  15. Thanks, it's just in the following full tutorial at 02:54 from Northside Lexus, it says it takes premium fuel...
  16. Morning, Does this car take regular or premium petrol please?
  17. Thanks for the replies. I think it will just fit. Reading about the canbus problem, however, I'm now having second thoughts. Hopefully the encryption problem will be rectified on the 2024 models.
  18. Greetings! My search goes on and I'm now wondering if a 2020 - or possibly brand new - ES 300h would fit through my '70s single garage door? Does anyone have its dimensions with mirrors extended and also mirrors folded please? I suspect that it will, but it'll be bloody tight! TIA.
  19. Gotcha, thanks a lot. Interesting that they don't have to provide efficiency data for each model, but I suppose it makes sense as there are so many options - wheel sizes, drivetrain, sills etc.
  20. I love that interior. I waited for ages for a similar colour to become available on an RC. I was going to get a metallic British racing green 3M wrap, only for the harsh arrow of reality to burst my balloon of hope when I learnt they don't come in that colour.
  21. I don't drive much so it's not the end of the world; just a bit surprising. Thanks. What model is that in yer profile pic? It's beautiful.
