No kept the same ecu that was in the car. Modded the throttle body to bypass the electronic part

Hi, Just put an auto engine into my manual is200. Changed the bearing at box etc. When I press the accelerator nothing happens until its about 50% pressed. I changed the throttle cable and have tried 3 throttle bodies. Eventually I modded one of the throttle bodies and it has solved the problem, however the modded throttle body is not ideal as it revs high and is drinking fuel like no tomorrow. Anyone had this issue? I'm at my wits end Thanks
