  1. Steve, I found this elsewhere on this site. You go to lexus-tech.eu - it is a secure HTTPS website. I have cannot say it is genuine but I think it is - it asks you for codes and in return provides a code to validate the update and an activation code. My dealer is on the case with Lexus and hopefully I can provide more details shortly.
  2. I've struggled to download the zip for this, but eventually succeeded and went to apply the update on the car. It ran for about 70 minutes and when the time remaining got down to zero I received the error shown below. Thought I'd ask here if anyone has got this fixed, because my local dealer is as useful as a chocolate teapot. Thanks
  3. Same here. The local dealership couldn’t / wouldn’t help, saying they have no control over the app. I tried to explain that it was an update to the car that seems to have caused this.
  4. Thanks to all for your replies, particularly Malcolm, Gary and Alan. I now have the car running in HV mode, and expect to refill (with E5) very shortly. To those who told me I needed a full EV, discard any sharp objects around you, and urgently seek counselling. 😀 EV is not yet the way forward. Pat
  5. I bought my NX450h+ because the electric range almost exactly matches the longest daily journey I routinely make. I took delivery of the car just over 3 months ago, with a full tank. It’s still got that same full tank. We are told that E10 degrades over time, and the advice varies but it would appear that it should be used within 3-6 months. Some suggest that replenishing one third of the tank effectively “refreshes” it. Anyone got any experiences/advice in this area? Cheers
  6. Thanks for that. Unfortunately neither method will work if the currently signed in driver is not the Primary Driver. I was extremely fortunate to persuade the previous owner to disclose his password and the car now actually belongs to me! Lexus did not help at all, most disappointed with that. The customer service helpline just kept hanging up on me after around 2 mins in the queue.
  7. I recently bought a 3-month-old NX450h+. Quite pleased with the car, but there is one issue. The car still shows the original purchaser, and he is listed as the Primary Driver. I can only get on as a secondary driver or guest. Does anyone have some insight into how I can remove the original owner and replace him with my details? I took the car to my local Lexus Centre today, but apart from giving it a good wash, they didn’t achieve anything at all. 3 hours of my life I won’t be getting back. -: )
