in my current situation it´s showing "all closed" on the dashboard, otherwise locking is impossible. But in reality the door can be not completely closed, which can result in alarm because that door can be slightly shaking (I think in my case it was caused just by another car passing around). Or it´s possible to activate the alarm just by trying to open it by physical pulling that door handle - such door is locked, but not closed completely, so you can pull it a bit and it´s evaluated as attempt to open by force. My previous generation NX did not have an alarm, so I even could not experience alarming due to that, but in 8 years of using I never recognized visually that locked car had not fully closed doors. My feeling is this issue has something to do with new type of e-latch.

Really? Honestly I do not know how my previous cars as I never experienced, and tried my wife´s current one (Toyota) and it´s impossible to lock if not fully closed. Making sure will mean to walk around always to see if children closed all doors properly when leaving the car:(

Hello, let me raise an issue I have faced with my new NX350h, I am curious if some of you experienced and how is your car status. Once the alarm started suddenly, few minutes after I left the car. Luckily I was still very close to it so went back, and the reason was the car was locked but the rear door was not fully closed. I didn´t know this is possible, tried to simulate again and confirmed the same with both rear doors. Repeatedly, the locking system is made this way - if I push the doors slowly, in some moment a sensor recognizes them as closed, it´s visible also on the screen inside, but physically it´s still partially open. Car can be locked, it looks fully locked, but then a small vibration or whatever small movement of the door is making the sensor off, the system is evaluating it as unauthorized opening and alarm starts... I called my dealer, telling me this is impossible and asked me to come. Showed to him there, he was surprised, and he tried his own NX and it was exactly same, just he did not recognized before. So he told me this is probably a standard design of locking on this generation NX. Can you please try it with yours and tell me your opinion about that? Thanks a lot!

So my 350h finally collected, after 21 months from order. One key only, the other 2 expected in 6 months - the dealer told me they are now getting keys for cars delivered in March 23. Waiting time terrible, but the car is really great, having. After 200 km moved to my old 200t to drive it to the dealer, feeling was like different century:)

I have been waiting from early Feb 2022, delivery date postponed I don´t remember how many times, seems to be overall record here:( I understand different policy for different markets, but seeing 1 year differenes is really frustrating. Now expected end of October, but quite limited communication from the dealer so not sure if coming or not.

Very interesting, my NX350h also expected early October, but order placed in February 2022, car produced 3 weeks ago.

Sorry for slight off-topic - does someone have experience with side steps on new NX? I am thinking about as probably will need to use roof box more frequently, but can´t find any reliable video or visualization how it really looks on the car

Not sure if there is someone else waiting such long time as me... But as already explained here, there is no clear FIFO or like that.

I have got finally some more concrete news from the dealer - my 350h got a manufacturing slot in July, arrival to the dealer middle of October. Ordered early February 22, it means total lead time to take 20 months.

My dealer has just updated my order (350h, placed early February 2022) - car was not booked for production in May, so now the earliest opportunity is June, but more probable is rather July or August. So if things go well, the car to be assembled 18-19 months from order, means delivery in 21-23 months. But he stressed again that there is no guarantee at all and it will be somehow given only when assy date is assigned.

Waiting is not the biggest issue, we all know the issues the industry is facing. For me the point is communication, this makes me crazy. I work for a company belonging to Toyota group, supplying all their OEM plants in Europe, I think I know quite well their expectations from suppliers, accent on customer first approach, perfect communication especially if any issues etc. All the supply chain is strongly requested to comply this philosophy, which I honestly like. But in my opinion it doesn´t work at the end of the chain, at the end customer interface. Communication is far different there, keeping silence rather than bad news first, vague uncertain phrases.. This devalues all which otherwise works quite well, I think.

Hello, my NX350h (awd, full spec excl. sunroof) was ordered early February 2022. Original delivery date 8/22, postponed to 10/22, then to 4/23 and now latest information is 8/23, but still without guarantee as the build date is not fixed. This is info from my dealer from last week. It´s quite frustrating, honestly I have lost my trust in the dates they tell to me. I know the dealer cannot influence that, but still.. Reading the last pages here it seems I belong to those waiting longest, either bad luck, or preference put on another markets, or I don´t know.
