  1. Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m going to bite the bullet and buy the whole kit and caboodle, simply for the cosmetic part. I’ll try and recover some of the cost by selling the unneeded part. 🍻
  2. Thanks for you reply. Contacted Lexus. Service manager insists it’s not covered by warranty. His take is that someone has hit the mirror and damaged the door to mirror housing. How they did that without damaging the mirror casing or the actual paintwork surrounding the housing he could not answer. The plastic door to mirror housing cannot be bought without the electronic motor ~total £457.05 + vat. Unsure whether to pay for part or leave to end of lease period, which may cost me more. 🍻
  3. Wing mirror door attachment (circle of two pieces of plastic between door and wing mirror (not the wing mirror housing itself) cracked (due to frost?) and fell off. Told by Lexus that this part only comes with highlighted section at £457.05+vat. Any advice (apart from paying)?
  4. Hello, new to this. During a cold spell some five weeks ago, early one morning we heard a sharp crack outside of our window. Turned out to be the housing of the wing mirror cracking and falling to the ground. The electric mirror still works and it was only the housing affected. Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else. Expensive piece of plastic. Regards, Stuart.
