Update: Hello everyone thanks for your suggestions. Decided to go with a local lexus specialist. Local lexus dealer tried charging me 180 for battery + 80 for fitting! Local specialist charged 150 including fitting. Touch wood haven't experienced any issues and didn't have to get ripped off by the dealership, contrary to what everyone else suggested on here

I live in norwich, actually not too far from the dealership, maybe 3-4 miles away? is it not possible to just go to a local lexus specialist instead? I always feel like the dealership is just gnashing their teeth to rip you off and somehow im supposed to just accept it?

Can I ask my local lexus specialist to help? My car can't even start? Can I jump start that 12v battery in the back of another car with another car? Or can I buy the battery off Lexus Parts Direct and ask someone to do it? Any idea how much $ I will be expected to pay?

Hi folks, I hope someone can give me some help on this one. I went out this afternoon and tried to start the car and I got a message 'Hybrid not working, move gear to P' I did this a number of times but the car wouldn't start. I think the starter battery is dead. I do drive the car almost every day, (about 50-100 miles everyday) Can anyone tell me, is there a specific 12 v battery I need to replace it or will any do? I know there is a temperature sensor in the Panasonic battery, what do I do with that? Will the dealership replace this under warranty? Or will the carstore replace this, ive also got a warranty with them? Any help would be warmly appreciated. Just my luck for it to happen on new year's eve

Hello Everyone Does anyone know of any lexus specialists/ service providers in Norfolk/ Suffolk area? I saw that main dealer does do servicing but its a pretty penny to swallow (major service 580, minor service 305 + 54 mot +50 hybrid health check) (64k, 2017 is 300h) I saw some people say that you could service your lexus at toyota dealership, is that true? Also my wiper blades wiper has gone wonky, does anyone know which wipers to buy? Do I need to buy the nicest ones if you're gonna have to replace it in 12 month anyways? Do I need a new tyre here? I rubbed this against the curb when I was backing into the spot. Will it matter if I get a different brand of tyre to the other 3 tyres If I do need a new tyre what tyre do people recommend?

For a car thats 6 years and 60k miles, i think the previous owners have kept it in superb shape, it looks new, there is no wear pretty much anywhere on the car , no scratches other than on the rims. Rim scratches were mostly me not being able to park.
