Mine showed 2.8 m/kWh when I first got the car back in October. This has gradually dropped and now shows 2.2m/kWh which I put down to the winter use of lights, heaters etc. I would like to know how to reset this display. I get an indicated 40/41 miles range in EV mode. 

My mostly short journeys are always in EV mode with the occasional longer one in hybrid, so the indicated fuel economy is 99.9mpg which doesn't really help.

On a half mile section of country road my RX450h+ always bleeps and shows 20mph limit. This always happens in exactly the same place and reverts back to 60mph after about half a mile in exactly the same place. This is a country road with no speed limit signs or road signs of any description, just lots of trees. The only explanation I can think of is that the sat nav is telling the car to show 20mph at that location. Does anyone have any ideas?

My Lexus app allows me to remotely set up the heating in the car, which is rather nice in this cold weather, but it won't let me remotely start the vehicle. Why would you want to do this?

I haven't managed to turn off the 9 'beeps' either. But to be honest it doesn't bother me. The 'Deep Dive' tutorials by the lady in Texas are really good but there is a helluva lot of information to absorb!

I won't comment on the dashcam because mine is an old one and this is the third RX it's been fitted to. It's a single forward facing one and was dead easy to fit. The thin 12v wire can easily be concealed behind the windscreen edge rubbers with the aid of a wooden ruler, round behind the inners of the glove box and the plug goes nicely into the cigar lighter socket under the sliding lid compartment.

As regards Air Tags,I have fitted one to my single key that Lexus have provided me with as I am paranoid about losing it. Regardless of the non-availability of integrated circuits, I do not think Lexus should be supplying cars with just one key.

Thanks Kevin. Yes, someone else mentioned that it is a warning that you might have left something or someone in  passenger seat. I've seen that prompt when I stop the car and wondered what it was! The beeping is not a problem anyway.

Strangely and for no apparent reason, it is now working and I didn't do anything!

Well it was there when I collected the vehicle and working fine. Now all I get is a blank screen. I must have dis-connected it or something in the car.

The Lexus App, which was set up when I bought the vehicle and have found most useful, has disappeared from my Iphone 6S. Does anyone have any ideas?

The key syncing appears to have worked although I ignored all her stuff about apple Car Play, whatever that is.

Also went through the 'Set Up Face' routine which should overcome my other problem with continually being told to 'Sit Up! Driver's Face Not Detected'. Not sure how this will work when my other half is driving though - she doesn't have a beard.

I'm working my way through the 3 hours or so of Melissa's wonderful Deep Dive Tutorial. Pity whoever wrote the handbook didn't watch this.

Thanks Alex - I've made copious notes on Melissa's tutorial so will have a bash at re-linking the (only) key when my good lady brings the car back!

Does anyone have any ideas about getting rid of the annoying 'Terms ofUse & Privacy Notice' which comes up every time I start my RX450h+? I have to tick two boxes and press an 'Accept' button every time before it will go away. If I just press the 'Don't Accept' button, it will go away until the next start, but the Iphone app will no longer register journeys.

Dan & Bob - I have turned off the driver's face detection and it has not turned back on when the car is re-started. Not concerned about the speed 'beeps' as I find them quite useful in adhering to speed limits. However, I have found no means of disabling the beeps when I first lock it.

I'll try that, although the glasses are not tinted. Think I'm going to leave the feature dis-abled because I don't really want to be told to sit up and pay attention. Takes me back to my school days!

I can't get the app to show recent journeys. It seems to be stuck on trips made in September.

Mine locks and unlocks with the door locks. I have noticed though, that sometimes if the car is already unlocked, I have to lock it then unlock it in order to release the plug.

Thanks Bob and others. The RX is the same as the RZ and the camera screen moves up and down with the steering wheel adjustment, so it's not the wheel obscuring the camera. So I dusted off the small screen, but what I've also done is gone into SETTINGS - DRIVING ASSIST- DRIVER SUPPORT - DRIVER MONITOR ALERT and turned it off. 

I shouldn't think this would affect the dynamic radar cruise function, which cannot be a function of the driver monitor. I did stop and start the car and it remained off, so we will see!

Not sure where the face recognition camera is located.

Multiple locking beeps are not due to open door or key inside. The vehicle locks OK, it just flashes and beeps, but not every time. 

As far as asking my dealer is concerned, they have very little clue about anything to do with this car! In fact they recommended me to use this forum for answers to any queries!

Yesterday I drove 60 miles with the message 'Sit Up! Driver's Face Not Detected' continually showing and the warning chimes continually sounding. I am 6 ft with a fairly normal white face (I think), with no facial adornments apart from some whiskers and a pair of glasses. Does anyone know how to dis-able this feature? As usual, there is nothing in the handbook.

Question number 2: Why is it that sometimes, when I lock the car, there are 9 'beeps' and lights flashing and sometimes there are none of these? Again, nothing in the handbook.

I've also been insuring RXs with LV for years with good service but they refused to quote my new RX450h+. Ended up with Admiral at £880!

On my head up display (HUD) I have a steering wheel symbol with two hands on it. It changes in colour from white to green periodically for no apparent reason. The salesman told me it is a warning to keep my hands on the wheel, which it is not! Anyone any ideas?
