  1. Alas not yet Piers... Despite days of drying the car with the heater and no rain in the interim the check hybrid system fault still prevails. I took the car to a local garage yesterday - they did a diagnostic on the car and got the same code that the AA had shown me - the dreaded P0AA6 code. They are not able to help me assess if the issue is an actual problem with the hybrid battery or the relay in the battery compartment. I now have to search for someone who can assist. Slowly losing faith and hope in my Lexus
  2. Hello all - I have been away on holiday for three weeks and came back to a very internally damp RX-400 and the warning messages 'CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM - CHECK VSC SYSTEM'. I knew my aux battery was a little worse for ware and so called the AA to replace it, hoping that the error messages would be resolved. Unfortunately, despite a new aux battery the codes persist and I am not able to start the car. On inspecting the front driver footwell and boot footwells (both left and right) there was quite a lot of water there. I have not been able to inspect the areas below the rear seat housing the HV battery, but am pretty sure that that area is also very damp/wet and as such a P0AA6 isolation issue is the cause for the error messages. I am trying to isolate the cause for the leak, while at the same time trying to dry the car using a heater and moisture absorbers bought from Amazon. I have no indoor area to carry out this process so am at the mercy of the elements. I am hesitant to get the car towed to my nearest Lexus dealership (this is the second time the car has been flooded, previously it was still under warrantee) - for fear of the dealership costs associated to the fix, even if its just a relay replacement/drying out process. Can anyone suggest a next step for me and perhaps a garage in the Surrey region that you may have used to get this issue resolved? I am in KT12, Walton-On-Thames. Many thanks Scott
