Good afternoon all, I have recently bought a NX300h and have experienced a flat battery (12volt).
I hooked it up to a battery charger and left it on trickle all day. The problem was solved and is now fully charged.
I have been told that it's possible to charge said battery by putting the car in "Ready Mode" So while I was cleaning it, I did the normal foot-on brake and pressed start. I shut the door and carried on washing the car. All the time I was out there washing and cleaning, the engine kept starting, it would run for a while and then stop and so on.
My question is this: is this the information concerning charging the car genuine and does it work?
