  1. My 20006 model GS 300 Engine management lights keep appearing, then disappearing again after the system appears to 'dry out' maybe hours or days later. I have now been told that maybe this is caused by a dodgy 80 Amp fuse. My mechanic also tells me that maybe hitting my ABS pump with a hammer can sometimes dislodge rust particles and that his diagnostics cannot tell the difference between a dodgy ABS sensor at the bearing end. I have already purchased a new nearside wheel bearing and sensor and had it fitted at a cost of £500 and all was fine for about 125 miles. He now tells me that maybe it is the master sender, or even a replacement ABS Unit is needed. Also, my inside the tyre replacement TPMS wheel units refuse to re-set via the button beneath-dashboard as the mechanic's £2.500 computer has failed to perform a permanent fix and I'm pretty much at the end of my tether now. Is there anyone out there with a reliable answer, please other than scrapping my lovely car. with only 67,000 miles on the clock.
