As I’m not one for reading manuals, does the LC500 have a running in procedure?

Thanks. I don’t typically take 2 week holidays but it sounds like it should be fine. I will be using the car regularly, at least once a week and short term storage over the winter where it will be on a battery conditioner.

Today was a big day! Collected my 73 plate Sport from Listers Lexus in Cheltenham, brilliant dealership. So I’m probably one of the few owners who leave their LC on the driveway and I’m off on holiday for 2 weeks. How does the battery hold up?

2023 LC works with Link+. Not sure about the other years. Dealership set mine up using the QR codes.

I bought mine from Listers Lexus in Cheltenham. Best dealer I have ever used. We had an open and fair negotiation regarding the value of my trade in (a Mercedes) and overall deal on the LC. It was a 3 hour drive for me but they were great, even provided lunch! They used an outside detailing company to machine polish and properly apply their Protech product, which was done for free without me asking. I had heard the Lexus dealer network was top notch and I am definitely a convert!

I have only just joined and don’t have an LC until Friday. I am part ex’ing an AMG. The insurance on my LC is £100 a year cheaper. No issues at all, Money Supermarket and got a good policy with Admiral. I live in a decent area where car theft isn’t too bad but the car will be on my driveway, it is tucked around a corner behind a hedge but nevertheless outside. I’ve had all sorts of German brands, Range Rover and a good friend driveway parks his Vantage S. Any decent car can get stolen but you can’t let that stop you getting the car you want.

@Paul29bit Thanks. I went for the ex demo Sonic Platinum sport at Lexus Cheltenham. 73 plate with extremely low miles. I have been thinking about it for a while and hearing they were coming to an end in the UK decided now or never.

Sorry I have just signed up to the group so a little late to the thread. I have purchased the 73 plate Sonic Platinum Sport at Cheltenham. Picking it up on Friday 19th of May. The salesman I have been dealing with did mention they had one more new LC500 due in? I was surprised but might be worth a call if looking for one of the last UK cars.
