  1. I am missing 10k, 20k and 30k stamps in my book

I know that the 20k was done at Twickenham and the car was supplied by Lexus Newcastle (but never returned)

Any idea how I can trace the service history which it must of had for the 3yr warranty I assume

Lexus didnt think it was a good idea having a central database

  2. No unfortunately I don't

It was done by the recommended place at Oldham

It may just be that I can't drive rwd lol

I had it all done after the rear drivers tyre blew and I went through a fence :(

It may be that because of that I don't feel safe driving it

  3. When I start the car I can here a fairly faint squeak coming from the water pump

Its not noticable with the bonnet closed and only slightly when open as if its the pulley on the water pump

Is there any way to disguise this as its going asap and i'll be more than glad to see the back of it to be honest

I have got to the point where I dread driving it on the motorway it feels so unstable and any hint of rain and it wants to chuck you off the road

Great car in build quality and looks but teh driving experience is not for me

  4. Just trying out some new additions

Medal of Honour - Allied Assault is great!!!

Juiced - Not as impressed as dub edition

Cold Winter - Looks like a cheapo 1st person but didnt get into it

Area 51 - Not bad but only played 10mins of it

Games are so much better played of the Hard Drive too!

  5. I cant see any in the window!!!

The temp is always ok and I went Newcastle and back in a day 350miles

It does leak from the water by pass valve every now and then which I need to sort

The rad got pushed up at the bottom by 1 or 2 rows but has not shown signs of leakage

  6. Can someone post a picture of what the coolant looks like when it is full in the viewing window

Also can you seen the coolant when you open the cap onto of the radiator?

I have bent my rad at the bottom but it doesnt leak however could this have caused my washer bypass valve to leak for some reason as coolant is coming out when it feels like it and I am worried as I cant check the level as I cant see anything in the viewing window :(

The temp needle is fine but I would ratehr be safe than sorry

  7. I am going to take out the rad and try and get everything straight again at the bottom as he rad is pushed too far up after the accident

What coolant shall I use, should I go to Lexus?

I also checked the oil level (1st time since I bought it) and its about 7.5mm over the top mark. I know too much oil isnt a good thing shall I just leave it or refill to the right level?

  8. As you know I have fooked my rad :tsktsk:

It is pushed quite a way up so I think that a new rad top cross member would be helpful

Is the 1G-FE radiator used in anything else so I can go on a ferret round some salvage yards as a new one wont be cheap I imagine

    Thanks

  9. I will get some more pics when I get my camera back

I bougth extended warranty when I bought it so will look at the paperwork thats at work tomorrow

Is it just that bit of 90 degree angle pipe bolted onto the engine??

There was none yesterday then it came back again today

I have recenty bent my rad a little and its pushed it up at the bottom but not put a leak in it

Could this of somehow caused the leak?

  10. Oil Leak

I woke to find a puddle of oil under my car this morning :tsktsk:

It appears to be from the front part of the engine just behind the belts near to where the water pipe is

    Sorry about the crap pics

Good job I have the lower engine cover off or wouldnt have seen it

Anyone any idea what it could be

  11. The IS is not aimed at traffic light grand prix

I had a Saxo VTS before the Is200 and can easily show up both a S/C IS or an ST170 but was constructed with tin foil hence the under 7 secs 0-60 and 15.2 1/4 mile

I also have a gti6 which keeps me amused when I feel the urge

The saxo beat it till 90-100 then 100+ the 6 rules but comfort and style the IS is worth every penny and they crash quite well too

It is all about the quality of the car itself as a whole on the motorway I would say the IS is better than its 0-60 time

Went looking round a car supermarket the other day where they mither you like hell trying to sell you vectras and ex lease 318's in my scruffs

    What do you drive now?

    An IS200 :driving:

    Lexus?

    Yeah

{Doh all are cars are ******* no sale for me} :crybaby:

Why dont you look at that Astra SRI its really cool

    Bye :whistling:

Great fun winding up salemen who have no idea about cars

    As one salesman said

Saxo VTS thats the 2.0 right

  12. Got my IS back on the road today

After a pile of bull**** from a so called BMW specialist trying to get me to claim on my insurance by saying my suspension was bent it is ok again.

I should have known better the shyster! :tsktsk:

Took it to be laser tracked and double checked nothing is bent

Decided on 4 new tyres too as they are due

Just have to get round to fixing the cross memebr under the rad the bumper is back on and it looks of for now

    Rear Passenger Flappy Thing

    rear_passenger.jpg

Could do with a Cat Heat Shield

    cat_shield.jpg

Not seen my tyre yet but I believe there is a big rip in the sidewall :o which caused me to try some offroading

Went post counting before and I owe the Water Board 5 6"x3" posts and some green mesh

  13. Back end first

    Any pics

It was a left hand corner with a grass field with said fence posts and a mesh fence on the left.

I went round it broke to the right then left then onto grass and straight along the line of the fence posts

Once we got it off the drivers side rear wheel was punctured so not sure it that was to blame?

    crash1.jpg

    crash2.jpg

    crash3.jpg

    crash4.gif

It looks as if it pushed up the radiator and the bottom cross piece under the radiator, because the bonnet catch is on the top of a metal bar stuck to this the bonnet wont close properly :tsktsk:

I might have to take out the rad and see if it can be either replaced or persuaded with a hammer to take its previous position :whistling:

Its cracked and scuffed the bumper and broke the headlight washer jet, couldnt believe how easy it is to take off

Gonna get it up on some ramps and see if everything is ok underneath and get the tracking fixed cos its fooked (hopefully its just the tracking :crybaby: )
