  1. I'm in Churt, between Haslemere and Farnham. Thanks for the tips - I'll have another go...
  2. I'm having what seems to be a common problem, in that my LS400 alarm system has disabled the car after the battery ran flat and I replaced it. I've tried all the tips for solving the problem, to no avail. I've done Chris Skelton's procedure involving turning the ignition on, disconnecting, ignition off and so on. I've tried turning the key to on for 6 minutes. I've tried sliding the slider on the remote a few times. I've tried pressing the black button on the remote for 10 secs, and I've tried pressing it until the little red light on the remote went out. I've tried the re-programming tips on the LOC US site, even though the car is a UK model with a Scorpion alarm. None of it worked, and I've still got 2 tons of dead metal sitting in my garage! Can anyone help? Can anyone recommend an alarm/immobiliser specialist to talk to in the event of there being no more tricks left to try?
  3. Ed, I would endorse the above see Colin at Powerhouse in Bridge Road trading Estate Camberley, he specialises in Toyota/Lexus unfortunatley I don't know another specialist in Farnham, tell him Trackrod sent you he'll look afetr you OK. Chris ← Thanks everyone - I was going to try Powerhouse but then I was steered towards Hawthornes in Farnham. I'll report back when the deed is done!
  4. Yo Bro, dude you need to check out the biggest and baddest dealer in The UK - Man, he don't have no cars but he has plenty of tools and can fix you up real good. Check out PDiddy cars just behind the car park, mention my name and he'll thro in a ho for the afternoon. :zee: ← Excellent, thanks for that. Can I just point out to my fellow forumites that this post is, ahem, less than genuine. I am however seriously looking for somewhere to get my car serviced, so if there are any non-comedians out there please reply. Otherwise this chap will be back! ← Whassup sister, you gotta chill out man, only trying to help you honky. Word on the street is that yo car sitting on its *ss, what yo bin doin? :zee: ← All right, that's enough - this kind of thing may have been acceptable in the 1970s but things have moved on now you know. To be honest I'm surprised that no other forumites have suggested to this berk that he desists. In fact, aren't the administrators out there somewhere? Where are the internet police when you need them. And what about my car?

  6. Can anyone recommend a friendly independent to get my 1996 LS400 serviced? It needs to be as near as possible to Farnham Station.
