I am new to the forum and see that there are some good techies amongst you. Can anyone help with a locking problem on my RX300 1998 Jap Import.
Suddenly the speed sensitive locking started to fail and now the car won't even central lock using the remote key. When passing through 20MPH the speed locking repeatedly tries to activate and finally gives up after a few attempts. I think this is because the locking generally has partly failed. Is this likely to be a relay or a solenoid or do you think it may be a software problem. (In which case I am going to get the usual runaround from the dealers because it's an import)!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
