Just to let you all know, my car went to the dealers on Tuesday where I had an appointment with the West Midlands area manager for lexus. After a test drive and discussion he admitted there was a fault somewhere on the front suspension and decided to replace the whole of the front suspension on both sides. This has hopefully rectified the problem long term, but unfortunately they could not pin point a specific fault. The dealer in question were Lexus in Worcester who were extremely helpful. Thanks for all your responses, they proved very helpful. :winky:

its been to the dealer 8 times and in that period its had:- * new top suspension struts * new front shock absorbers * new ball joints * new anti roll bar bushes but the noise has not disappeared? Is there anyone out there with an IS300 that has got the same problem as me??? A creak on the front suspension????? I am not impressed that a £28,000 car should make an embarrassing noise and I refuse to accept the dealer's explanation that it is a 'common characteristic' of the IS300.
