can anyone inform me of why lexus use a 6th gear in their manual cars. most other cars including BMws and Mercs just stick to 5 but only the super sporty M3 and soon to arrive delicious lookin Audi RS4 have 6 but they are way more sportier in terms of performance and looks than the IS 200 Sport

Dudes.... i wanna paint my calipers black but they bit rusty.....would it be ok to paint over them. i thought bout buy new calipers for all 4 brakes phoned up lexus cardiff and the bloke goes 290 + VAT each caliper. so we talkin 290 x 4. he must have misunderstood me...surely they cant be that bad. any1 with info please please tell

hi guys (and girls) Im lookin to add a set of brake calipers on my IS 200 Sport. Cruising down the Porsche showroom on the way to London I saw Porches with red brake calipers with Porsche embossed on them. Do Lexus have any?? I'd like black ones with Lexus written on in silver. Anybody with info please write in. Sittin at home doin some uni work....much rather be crusin in the car though. sunshine really makes the black IS 200s standout.

hi peeps....bought my IS from a Seat dealer in Jan this year. Astral black IS200 Sport V reg registered 74000 miles on the clock...3 prev. owners... NO SAT NAV though but everything else is swell. paid £10,295 for it.....what do you think a decent price????? also 6mths warranty

jus bought a black lexus IS200 Sport bout a month ago, a beauty looks stunning and some great features....except when i drive on th motorway. speed and power aint too bad...already got 6pts and two £60 fines....but i find it a little lightweight and the steering a little loose too.....worst of all the cabin noise is so loud i have to put the music up full vol jus to drown out the noise...thank gosh for the 8-way speakers eh....... any1 else experience similar problems
