By the way Gareth, you might have seen my old soarer around Leeds before. It had a distictive number foriegn number plate of "101".

damn it.. I thought I had the first one!! got mine into the country.. the difference with mine is that I have some vents on the side wings and my doors would open normally, or up (lambo)! what ever way you like... plus the headrest TV, 18 alloys and slightly wider arches.... might post pics soon.. but then again.. i don't have the one and only!!

Hello Guys... any ideas how can someone convert the screen in a soarer v8 into english? and how can I get TV reception? and if i like to buy a new entertainment system which would include a DVD player and maybe sat nav, is it possible to upgrade my current system without changing screen? so i can just plug the new one into it? Hello Guys.. I bought my soarer.. and to say it's a great car i will be understating my feelings! however: here we go, the problems start! I hear clicking noise coming from the dash once i reach 30-40 mph, and that noise increase with the speed.. once i am doing 100+ mph (i know that's illegal!) the clicking noise make u think the dash might explode.. which is a scary thought really! So, is this stage one of the famous blinky dash? how can i solve the problem? any one had that problem before? Thanks AL

Thanks for every one responded here.. that helped a lot.. however: I have seen some cars in my last visit to Dubai, those were RHD with Lexus badge on them.. I believe they were imported from Singapore hence it was lexsus, not sure though... So it's a Toyota then! i will buy one next week.. so wish me some good luck! Cheers AL

Hello Guys.. I am new to this forum... I am thinking of buying a soarer but i want to know would it be registered as Lexus or as a Toyota? in Japan there is no Lexsus, so can people register an import as Lexsus although it came as Toyota? or r there 2 different types? If so what would be better for the insurance?? Thanks AL
